It may not seem to be a good thing when all we hear is cold news…but, it is actually refreshing to hear of a winter storm coming, instead.

I was quite thankful when the tone and the ambiance of the internet news scene was peaceful and happy during the time between Thanksgiving and New Year’s.

I mean, for the most part, anyway. I know that all of our lives can’t be warm and wonderful; embracing humanity in a positive, upbeat way, but it was a nice way to spend the holiday.

• Happy.
• Welcoming.
• Heart warming.
• Friendly.

It didn’t take a long break. Now, it is getting mean. And nasty. And bitter. And judge-y all over again.

This winter storm and the cold news related to ice, rain and snow for Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the northeast is actually quite welcome. I am not kidding. Not even a little bit.
