A Little Fuzzy, But Still

We are all getting a little fuzzy, but still here. Working. Eating together as a family. Trying to get things done.

As things settle into a routine, it is easier to manage – but we still don’t know what we don’t know.

Of course, the level of “too much togetherness” has (not yet) reached the fever pitch, the limit of our patience or thrown us over the edge of sanity.

I read a statistic today that less than 6% of the the workforce works from home, while nearly 75% have the capacity to do it. That is tremendous and, it is all happening, at once, without pretesting.

Plus, that doesn’t account for the school-aged (from preschoolers to college) kids who are burdening the bandwidth at the same time.

To be honest I think it is amazing that we are all able to do what we’ve been able to do. Sure, the calls are a little fuzzy, but still we’re able to communicate, host webinars, conduct business “face-to-face” and make the message clear. Keep up the good work. I am so proud of how everyone is pulling together and trying to make the best of a pretty crazy situation. Hang in there. I think the numbers of people who decide to continue to do this will only go up in the next few years.
