25 Degrees

There are so many ways 25 degrees can change things.

Weather changes, like when it goes from 90 to 65. You consider turning on the heat, even though the air conditioning has been running full blast for almost 2 months and you want nothing more than being able to open a window and let the fresh air in.

Or, on the flip side, rising from 32 to 57 and you finally feel like you can go out without 3 (or 4) layers. Maybe, go for a walk and not have to briskly make your way, but instead linger and look at the newest house being built down the street.

Latitudinally, the difference from the southern most tip of Florida and the northern edges of Maine, is huge. (You can hug the middle, since those extremes are possibly outside of your comfort zone.)

Dinner will probably cook in the optimal amount of time, when you set the oven to the proper temp… or, take a full extra 45 minutes, and still be delicious; while a cake, will not offer so much flexibility.

Life might improve if you have professors all in a room and touting a whopping collective of 25 degrees – but they still might not be able to solve all of the world’s problems. So, we must all work to do our best and know that even a small change can make a huge difference.
