Twice a year, our lives are changed by an antiquated system of making up time in terms of hours of daylight. Some states don’t change their clocks for the 1 hour difference…it is confusing and yet – Halloween partiers are happier to have the time to recover tomorrow morning.

Wedding guests on a Halloween night, even more so.

It is early. The after party just started.

Tomorrow I will say thank you…but probably not in the coming months. I am not sure that I appreciate the 1 hour difference, daylight earlier means darkness sooner each afternoon. When, if ever, does someone say – wait; why are we still doing this?
